Three Stages. Three Specialists. One Bag.

Halal at origin. Crafted and packed in Europe. Shipped from Uppsala.

Good beef, halal-slaughtered at origin in Europe. Air-dried and packed by a European workshop that's been doing this longer than we've been a company. Final check and hand-packed orders from our team in Uppsala. Full paperwork at every handoff.

    01.

    Where The Beef Comes From.

Our beef is sourced from certified European partners. Cattle raised by farmers our halal supplier has worked with for years - routine audits, clean feed, and a full chain-of-custody record on every batch.

    What we care about.

    • The animal had space, a good life, and a clean end.
    • The slaughter is halal-certified - every animal, every time. No mixing.
    • The cut is fresh, lean, and traceable to the farm it came from.

    What we don't use.

    • Mystery "meat trim."
    • Reconstituted / pressed / formed beef.
    • Beef from outside our certified supply chain - not a single bag.

We're not the farmer. We're not the slaughterhouse. What we are is the brand that won't put its name on a bag until every link in that chain is documented.

    02.

    Halal, Specifically.

We don't say "halal" and hope you trust us. We did the work. Here's what that means.

The animal. Slaughtered by a Muslim, facing the qibla, with the tasmiyah pronounced over each animal. Approved zabihah method. On stunning: Halal Europe's standard permits controlled, reversible stunning, and our facility uses it - explained in full on our halal page rather than glossed over here. This happens at the certified halal slaughterhouse at the beef's origin - not as a finishing step somewhere down the line.

The facility. Dedicated halal lines. No pork crosses the floor. No alcohol in any curing brine. No "animal fat (unspecified)" in anything that touches our beef - at either the slaughterhouse or the craft workshop that air-dries the beef.

The paperwork. Every batch is certified at origin, audited at the craft workshop, and checked and logged by us when it lands in Uppsala. Certified by Halal Europe, a member of the World Halal Council. Want to see the certificate? Email hello@yallajerky.com and we send it.

"It's halal, trust us" is not an answer. If you're asking, you deserve specifics.

    03.

    Air-Dried. Properly.

Most "jerky" on shelves is dehydrated - pushed through heat, dried in hours, stabilized with sugar. It's fast, and it tastes like it.

Our production partner does the opposite.

Air-dry, slow. Low temperature, controlled humidity, over days - not hours. The beef keeps its texture, its color, its dignity.

Traditional method, halal line. The European air-dried beef tradition goes back centuries. The best workshops take days, not hours, to finish a batch. We picked a specialist that's been perfecting this longer than we've been a company, and brought our halal standards, our spice blends, and our QC protocols to their floor.

Why a partner, not our own kitchen? Because this craft takes decades to get right. The result is better than a first-year startup kitchen would ever produce. We'll say that out loud.

    What this costs us

    Time.

    A batch takes days.

    What it buys you

    Beef that tastes like beef.

Texture you can chew, not snap. No sugar to hide the cuts.

    04.

    The Spice Rack.

We don't use "natural flavors." Ever. We read the label too.

All five - Original, Spicy, Smokey BBQ, Carolina Reaper and Garlic - use spices you'd pick up at any decent spice shop: cracked black pepper, sea salt, coriander, mustard seed, chili, real dried Carolina Reaper, smoke, roasted garlic, and a splash of vinegar in the cure. That's it. No sugar syrups. No MSG dressed up as "seasoning." No "natural flavors."

    05.

    About The Preservatives.

We'd rather tell you than hide it.

Every bag uses one minimal preservative - potassium sorbate - declared on the label, nothing more than what's needed to hold the beef to its 6-month shelf life. Legal under EU food law, standard for cured meat at this quality tier. No hidden anything.

If we could keep the product stable without it and still ship premium product to your door in Europe, we would. We're open with our supplier about reducing it over time. When the day comes that we can honestly remove it, we will - and we'll tell you that too.

Ikhlas. We read every ingredient. We'd rather earn trust by being honest about what's in the bag than by pretending we're cleaner than we are.

    06.

    Shipped From Uppsala.

Every finished batch comes to our facility in Uppsala for a final check, order packing, and shipping.

    What we do here.

    • Open and inspect each incoming batch against spec.
    • Check weight, texture, color, spice coverage.
    • Reject anything that doesn't meet the standard. Rare, but it has happened.
    • Number each bag in the first run.
    • Pack each order by hand.

Uppsala → Nordics → EU. We ship in that order because we build in that order. No dropshipping. No "fulfillment partner you've never heard of." You order, we pack, it leaves from here.

    .

    Receipts, Not Promises.

Every claim on this page exists as paperwork somewhere: a halal certificate at origin, an audit report at the workshop, an arrival log in Uppsala. Nothing leaves us without one of the three of us checking it first, and writing it down.

If a single step in the chain slips, the bag doesn't ship.

Halal slaughter at origin. Certified chain. Craft and packing at the right workshop, by the right method. Spices and preservatives that pass the label test. Final check in Uppsala. Want to see it? Ask, and we'll send the certificate.

Don't take our word for it. Take the paperwork.

    receipts on request -
